Welcome to the members of the MEP BSR/Potsdam 2022

It is our pleasure to welcome all of you to yet another Baltic Sea Region Model European Parliament, which will be hosted in Potsdam.
We welcome you to Germany, this beautiful country with an exceptional landscape full of forests, lakes, mountains, the mesmerising North Sea and of course our beloved Baltic Sea.
Extraordinary legends and a history progressing for the better. Germany has a long-lasting tradition of cooperation within the European borders, and especially the Baltic Sea Region.

Finally, as we all have wished for a long time, we are overcoming the Covid19 pandemic bit by bit. And now that our daily lives are getting as close to normal as possible, we can end our pattern of online MEP sessions etc. We are thrilled to finally meet you for a face-to-face conference and see you push yourselves way over the limits. Limits that you didn’t even know existed.

As delegates you will discuss and debate some of the most heated issues in the European Union, which will hopefully result in a better future for every generation. You will also gain a better understanding of the resolutions submitted by the EU and get the chance to make your own. You will get a grasp of what it means to be an EU politician.

We wholeheartedly encourage you to make the most of this BSR MEP session and engage as much as possible. We believe that you have all fought for this opportunity, and now it´s time to prove why you deserved the position that you were given.
We are eagerly looking forward to your arrival in Germany and can’t wait to see you all in October!
